The one-day Certified classes are actually not classes and most of such events are conducted free of cost by the institutions offering full-time courses in a particular subject. Usually, the members or consultants of the institute offer a session on how to apply for a subject you're interested in. Sometimes, there will be a small amount of registration fee applicable to avoid the candidates, who are not interested, but want to pass their time stilling in a lecture hall and such events are legal. However, if you come across any courses, where it will be mentioned that you will learn everything in a day and get a job by the end of the same week, then it's recommended to avoid them.
