What pre-owned car to finance?

i'm thinking a used, preferably certified, honda or toyota. im looking for something with reliability, low monthly finance payments, longevity, low/affordable maintenance and great fuel mileage. i like how some dodge cars look but i dont know how'd they fare in the said categories. i would love to own a bimmer or mercedes benz, but i don't know if that's a good idea because i hear that it's expensive to repair them. what car do you reccommend for what i want such as simple city/highway driving?
