In a union election can a small group of people demand a revote of officers...?

if they are unhappy with the results of a certified election? In my union a small group (compared to the total membership) usually hijacks the general membership meeting and basically declares all sorts of outrageous stuff. When the president calls them out of order they just make their own resolution, call a vote and pass it among themselves, all without being recognized by the president. Then they email everyone who was not at the meeting that all this stuff passed. They have even gone so far as to issue bogus press releases.
